Rickenbacker 4001 USA 1979 in Jet Glo with original hard case This is an exceptionally good example of a 4001, and in Jet Glo Black, too. This is the most desirable colour, which comes up for sale less frequently than the other finishes and is hard to find in this condition. All in all quite an amazing bass! The condition is superb for a 31-year-old bass. A couple of small marks on the body and a few on the end of the headstock, otherwise perfect. The back of the neck is particularly good. The chrome is clean and in good condition, the neck arrow straight and it sounds as a vintage Ricky should - it's very hard to fault. The bass is all-original and has been very well cared for from new. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better one. |

It has its original case which is also in excellent condition apart from one broken catch (The part is in the case and will be included. Could be fixed or replaced) If you've been looking for a great 4001 in Jet Glo which plays very well and will hold its value then this is it. All for about the price of a new 4003. £1825
