*****SOLD***** Fender Precision Bass 1981 Cherry burst with original hard case The early eighties saw renewed hope at Fender generated by a new team of people including Bill Schultz and Dan Smith. The factory was upgraded to produce higher quality instruments and some new colour finishes were offered for the first time, but only for a couple of years. These included the now legendary Sienna burst, the brown burst and also the even rarer Cherry burst. The Cherry burst was offered for one year only. If you were looking for Cherry burst Precision I don't believe you will find better. This is a mint condition bass, barely played, complete with chrome bridge and pick up covers, owners booklet, tags and key, all in its original Fender hard case. All codes and numbers date correctly - absolutely superb.
