ESP Series 800 Jazz Bass MIJ 1990 with hard case

This is a superb quality made instrument with a very high "custom shop" specification and very rare. The ESP series 800 basses were only made as a reward for ESP dealers who had reached certain targets, and only one per region. They were never meant for re-sale and were never an official production model.

They were made in Japan and based on a 1962 Fender Jazz bass, down to the reverse action tuners. 2-piece ash body, lovely slim fast neck, recessed neck plate, sunset orange with matching headstock and gold hardware. (The gold plating shows some wear)

It has great sustain and loads of tonal variation on offer by blending the 2 pick-ups.

This is a great quality bass at a sensible price. It shows signs of being used and has a few very small marks on it, but is in overall very good condition.

Comes with tatty hardcase which is fine for transportation but not much else! I can supply a new Hiscox case at a very good price if required.
