Ibanez Roadster Bass 1979 with original case

Great for slap!!

This is a particularly good example of an Ibanez Roadster Bass (Not to be confused with the inferior Roadstar range) with original case. It was made in 1979 and was bought new by the original owner before being imported by myself into the UK in 2008. Subsequently sold, it was bought back by me only a few weeks ago.

It had been in storage for the last 25 years before importation, and is in excellent condition. Finished in a beautiful dark translucent violin finish, it has active electronics (powered by an on board 9v battery) and has a huge tone, and a low action. All in all an amazing find and a great collectors piece.

Has a small chip in the finish by the neck pocket and a few very light scratches but other than that mint. The neck is totally unmarked (including the headstock) and looks new. The bass has hardly been played.

These are getting hard to find, especially in this condition and with the original hardcase, and will only increase in value. This is a great useable bass and plays really well and is ready to gig.
