Fender Precision Bass Elite II 1983 Olympic White with original hard case

A rare Fender Precision Elite II from 1983 in beautifully aged white with rosewood neck, in near mint condition. These basses were only made for a very short time, and packed full of features such as the bi-flex two way truss rod system, micro-tilt 4 bolt neck, active circuitry (powered by a long-life on board 9v battery) heavy cast Schaller bridge with fine adjustment tuners, 2 noise cancelling pick-ups (The solid traditional sound of the classic P-bass but with less noise interference and hum and a new second bridge mounted pick up for an extra bright, punchy tone) which also features two independent volume controls and a separate tone assign switch which lets the tone control operate on either or both pick-ups, providing an usually wide range of sounds. Very versatile.

These were a very "eighties" design and not to everyone's tastes which is one reason they were only made for a short period of time. This actually makes them quite unusual and you would be very hard pressed to find one as clean and as totally original as this one - almost impossible to fault. I tip these to become very collectable over the coming years and this one is well worth playing and keeping.
