Gibson Professional 335-S Deluxe 1980 with hard case

A rare Gibson, made only for a couple of years and in great condition. This guitar was made in October 1980 - 31 years old!

Finished in a nitro vintage 2-tone sunburst on a mahogany body it has a high specification which includes a neck that features a bound ebony fingerboard, Pearl inlayed Gibson peghead, "Dirty Fingers" pickups with coil tap, TP-6 tailpiece, and polished brass fingerboard nut for added sustain. The fine tuning bridge was a standard feature on this guitar and works really well.

It takes its shape from the 335 but the name is a bit confusing as it is not a semi-hollow body and has nothing in common with an ES-335. It is much more like a double cut Les Paul Special with added features. This guitar sounds fantastic, has nice low action, and is easy to play. Due to the very versatile pickups and the coil tap, it can go from a smooth and rich sound to a very heavy or gritty sound. It will stay clean or get super saturated depending upon the gain settings on your amplifier and the volume levels on the guitar.
